We are currently looking for writers! Journalists, reporters, anyone who can gather information about current events in an effective and preferably creative manner. We will not be covering events based on what other news groups have already stated; they have already filtered information, and sharing that again would be undesirable.
Being able to interview people at an event is a big plus. Being familiar with the Socratic Method is good, as is an interest in philosophy and psychology.
Quality standards: On slow news days, we don’t report on things that aren’t important. Instead, we accept the reality that the day was uneventful and move on. Additionally, it will be up to the writers to decide what a headlining event is. The ability to exercise restraint in picking which articles make this cut is important.
No political side left in the dark: We have no intention of becoming a news site that caters to one view of the world. A peer judgment will be in order to determine if you qualify (what this is, exactly, isn’t set in stone). The ability to work with those with opposing viewpoints is very important.
Pay: Currently, we are unable to pay writers. This may change under appropriate circumstances.
